In 2003 and 2004 the European Observatory on Homelessness produced a report providing an overview of the research carried out on homelessness in the EU. It has proved a very valuable resource and the demand for this kind of research update is large. For this reason, the Observatory decided that it would be more useful to make the research review an ongoing and dynamic resource, by bringing their findings together in a database with a search engine. This is how the database below came to be created.
